So I thought I'd flick through some pictures and reminisce whilst also showing you guys some of the holiday outfits I put together whilst out there :) Hope you enjoy!
That's all folks!

Guest Post | Spider Leg Lashes

Hey! I have a little guest post for you today from the lovely Maya from Spider leg lashes, I really love her blog, especially her outfit posts! So here are her 5 favourite spring and summer nail polishes, and if you haven't already then check out her blog (here) because it's a bloody good read! ;)

I don't know about you guys, but Spring/Summer just scream pastel and bright nails to me.
Here are 5 of my favourite nail polishes that I'll be rocking when it (finally!) gets warmer.

Angelica Palma Violet / Angelica Hip Hop - Angelica polishes can be picked up from Primark and cost around £2.50. Opaque in a couple of coats and dry quickly, these are just 2 of my ever-growing Angelica collection. Palma Violet is a lovely lilac colour and Hip Hop is a super bright pink corally colour - a favourite for my toenails!

Essie Fear & Desire / Essie Bikini So Teeny - 2 higher end polishes and the newest additions to my collection. Bikini So Teeny was huge last year and I suspect it will be this year too. Fear & Desire is a wonderfully bright orange and Bikini So Teeny is a pale blue with the subtlest sparkle.

MUA Pistachio Ice-cream - Apparently a dupe for Essie's Mint Candy Apple and at just £1 a bottle, MUA polishes are a fairly good cheap alternative. Pistachio Ice-cream is a pretty pastel green.

Guest Post | Five Fashion and Beauty Holiday Faux Pas

We’ve all seen it. Mr Socks-With-Sandals waiting in line for the city tour bus, complete with his trusty Hawaiian print shirt and a pair of flip-up sunglasses. Fashion seems to slip a little when you’re on holiday and most women admit to wearing things on holiday they wouldn’t be caught dead wearing back at home in the UK. But just because you are miles away from home, doesn’t give you the excuse to give up on fashion altogether.

Summer breaks usually mean you will have heaps of holiday snaps that will no doubt last longer than your holiday romance. Prevent yourself from looking back and cringing at your fashion decisions by avoiding the five most common fashion faux pas of holiday-ers.

CROCS
Two year olds learning to walk can just about get away with wearing them (just.) but anyone other than that has no excuse. They’re not big and they’re not clever. There are plenty of other comfortable options that will give you fresh feet without causing blisters or unsightly tan marks. Foot Petals have tons of different shaped shoe cushions that fit subtly into all types of shoes and sandals.

UNSIGHLTY PITS
Travelling on holiday often means you let your normal beauty regime slip. Unless you’re a fan of the Sandra Bullock look (we all remember ‘that’ photo) invest in a good hair removal option. Shaving and waxing is a good quick fix but if you’re after a permanent solution the at-home laser hair removal device from Tria Beauty is an essential part of any traveller’s preparation.

BUM-BAGS
There’s no questioning the practicality of bum-bags, but if you wouldn’t wear it at home, then why choose to wear it on holiday? There are plenty of other options to keep your valuables safe. Invest in a good over the shoulder bag with plenty of zip-pockets and hidden compartments to keep your valuables and your dignity together. Nothing screams ‘tourist’ more than a causal bum-bag hanging around your hips.

SOUVENIR T-SHIRTS
That oh-so-hilarious t-shirt with the slogan that sums up your holiday so well will soon be taking up valuable closet space when you return. Avoid the tourist filled markets selling ‘I heart New York’ t-shirts and head to the traditional, cultured kind to make sure your souvenir doesn’t end up in the ‘for charity’ pile next spring

TAN MARKS
Statement sunglasses are an essential item for any fashion conscious female on holiday. But there’s nothing worse than taking them off at the end of the day to reveal the classic reversed panda eyes. Most people forget to put UV protection on their face even though this is the most sun-exposed area of all. Sunscreens that are specifically designed for the face are available for all types including oily and acne prone skin. Kiehal offer a particularly good range of natural facial sunscreens with SPF from 15 to 50.

Thanks to Hazel Barnes for writing this hilarious and also very useful post! Hope you enjoyed :)

Guest Post | Here Comes the Sun: Summer Holiday Attire Done Well…

It’s about that time of year where minds start wondering, the weather is warming up and we’re getting our first chance to get some use out of our summer wardrobes. It seems that at the first sign of the sun we all instantly crave more and rush online to book flights out of the city for our annual summer escapes.

Wherever you’re going this year weather you’re planning to hit up the beach in the South of France or heading out to a festival either at home or abroad then you’ll be sure to be in the same boat, wishing away the time until you can leave work behind you, pack your bags and sip on a refreshing cocktail at 11am and not feel like a reprobate, after all you’re on holiday!

The one thing that will keep any girl occupied over the weeks before you jet off is planning your summer vacation wardrobe and most importantly which swimming costume you will opt for this year. Choosing the right swimwear is a veritable mind field, one of the most difficult decisions you will have to make; get it right and you’ll be feeling body confident, get it wrong and you’ll regret it!

So we’re on hand to make sure you choose the right swimwear for your personal style and your shape so you feel fantastic in time for your holidays. We also run through some tips and tricks to make sure you choose the right shape sunnies for your face shape just in time to hit the beach, no need to thank us!

If you’re Small on Top: Fringe Bandeau – Miss Selfridge - £26 – This cool fringed bandeau is ideal for ladies with a smaller bust, the detailing will create the illusion of more shape, if you’re smaller on top then opt for fringing, ruffles or frills to add some extra curves. You can choose almost any style; steer clear of thick strapped bikinis as this might look a little overwhelming on a smaller bust!

If you’ve got a Bigger Bust: Charlie by Matthew Zinc (Blue Chevron bikini) - £125 – This super stylish blue bikini is perfect for those who have a bigger bust, under-wiring and thicker straps will ensure that you’re properly held in place and avoid any embarrassing slips!

If you’ve got a Bit of a Tummy: Yellow Lemmon Bandeau Bikini – Topshop - £34 – This cool lemon print bikini is totally on trend for this season, it’s also ideal for ladies who have a little bit of a stomach that they want covered. The high waisted bottoms are leg lengthening and hide and areas you don’t want on show without being frumpy!

If you’re Big on Bottom: Stella McCartney Bikini with Shorts - £56 – Don’t think that shorts on the beach are uncool, if you’re rocking a bigger booty then shorts will be your savoir, you can find some super cool styles like these brilliant Stella McCartney ones. Shorts will avoid getting bunched up and balance out your shape.

If you’ve got a Square shaped Face: Solid Matte Black Sunglasses - Alexander Wang - £250 – Soften an angular face with round framed sunglasses, if you have areally strong jawline then opt for pastel colours for a more flattering feminine style. These amazing Alexander Wang sunnies are perfect for a week away in the sun.

If you’ve got a Round Shaped Face: Club Master Half Frame Sunglasses – Rayban - £125 – Avoid round frames if you have a round face, instead opt for a frame that is wider than your face to create the illusion of length. Rayban’s really are a classic design and there are tonnes of different shapes and styles to choose from so make sure you get a pair in a style that suits you’re colouring.

If you’ve got an Oblong Shaped Face: Aviator-Style Tortoiseshell Sunglasses – Gucci - £98 – If you have a longer oblong shaped face then choose a pair of sunnies that are slightly narrower than your face shape, another great tip is to choose sunnies with gradient lenses to emphasise you’re cheekbones!

If you’ve got an Oval Shaped Face: Number One Sunglasses – Karen Walker - £160 – If you’re lucky enough to have an oval face then rejoice as you can wear pretty much any shaped sunglasses that take your fancy, why not opt for something adventurous and play around with colour to find something fun that really suits you. These fun peach coloured Karen Walker sunglasses are definitely different, the shape and colour are feminine but the angles make them really unique looking!

If you’ve got a Heart Shaped Face: Square Cat Eye Sunglasses – Norma Kamali - £63 – For those with a heart shaped face an on-trend cat eye style will emphasise your assets, the elongated edge will also help to balance out a pointy chin. These ones from Norma Kamali are super stylish plus with tortoiseshell you can never go wrong!

So there you have it some essential summer do’s and don’ts to help you get through even the most difficult holiday dilemmas, so if your vacationing with the family in Barbados or back-packing round Asia with some girlfriends or even a weekend away in Bulgaria with the boyfriend; stick to the rules and you’ll never fail. All you need to remember now is not to forget your passport!

Holiday!!!

Hello! How are you?
I've been away for a while, I went to Italy for a week! It was soooo lovely and I'm sad to be back home in London but also excited because I start my next internship at Oasis today! I did have some  guest posts scheduled for when I was away but they didn't publish themselves which sucks! But they are really great so I will take this week to publish those for you so you can still read them! :)

For today, here's some photos from my holiday if you're interested! To sum up the week, we ate a ridiculous amount of amazing food, drank bottle after bottle of local wine, shopped in Amalfi, visited Pompeii, climbed mount Vesuvius, ate more food, sunbathed, drank cocktails, and attempted to speak very bad Italian!

Thanks for reading!

Look out this week for guest posts from Spider Leg Lashes, Lucinda Bounsall and Hazel Barnes!
