July Faves!

Hellooo!

I have been sitting here trying to think about all the things I have been loving last month and there are soooo many things but I've whittled it down to these eight so that this post doesn't take you until next month to read!

So first up is something I bought for such a barg a while ago in the Body Shop Outlet in Gunwharf Quays! It was a fiver if I remember rightly and for 750ml that's amazing!! It smells so lovely and sweet and I've used it every single day of July!!

I have been wearing this a lot over the last month because it's so sweet and summery! It's really long lasting and a little goes a long way so I'll be using this in to August too :)

I did buy this towards the end of the month but I thought I'd include it because I have literally worn it every day since I bought it! It's amazing, you can read my review here for more info but I absolutely love using it and will definitely repurchase!

I''m not usually a lip gloss sort of person as I dislike the stickyness and prefer the colour payoff from lipsticks but I have been converted! I bought a Lip Glaze Trio from Stila and although I love all three colours I have been wearing this one the most! It's really natural and lovely for day makeup :) You can read my post about this set here!

Pandora Bracelet

I thought I'd include this as I have been wearing it a lot lately! I got it for my 18th birthday from my mum and a few other people also bought me charms for it. I love that all the different charms remind me of the different people who bought them and I love how it's so personal! I didn't take it to uni with me for fear of losing it so I have been making up for that by wearing it a lot now I'm home!

I bought this at the Bottle bar in Westfield at the beginning of July and every time I repaint my nails I reach for this! I think I'm addicted... I've forced myself to choose another colour for now but I don't know how long I can live without this lovely fluorescent orange on the end of my fingers!

Not to sound repetitive but this is something I have also used every day since I bought it!! I did have some trouble with the staying power at first as I mentioned here, but using it with a primer and a setting mist has really helped and I've been loving it lots!

I bought this a long long time ago and then left it at home while I moved back to uni. Now I'm back I've rediscovered it and really like using it again! I put it in my hair while it's wet and it keeps the ends soft and easy to manage while I'm styling it. And it smells amazing! I'm a big fan of Aussie products and I may do a review on this one if you would like to see one!

I've also been loving watching Beautycrush's Youtube videos this month! Especially her recent video about shyness and social anxiety, I think it's really brave of her to make such a personal video and I'm sure a lot of people will be able to relate.

So that's all folks!
That's all my favourite things for July,
what have you been loving?

Thanks for reading!

Stila Lip Glaze Trio

Hellooo!

I recently went to the Boots at Westfield London and had a browse through the Stila section! I always look at all the products lovingly and lust after... pretty much everything but never usually buy anything because I can't justify spending so much! As much as I'd like to think I'm a lady of leisure... I am actually a student after all!

But last time I went these caught my eye and the little rational budget keeping voice in my head said go for it!

So I bought this set of three lip glazes for £12 (0.05 fl ounces) when one is £15 for 0.08 fl ounces! Now I'm no maths wizz but that's a bargain!

It's called the Fiesta Trio and it includes the shades Kitten, Maraca and Pinata. (below: bottom to top.)

First up Pinata! My official favourite shade of the three! It's such a nice colour, its quite close to the natural colour of my lips but of course better and more shimmery!

Next is the shade Kitten. It's a really nice goldy pink colour which is the most shimmery out of the three.

Finally Maraca is a lovely peachy pink which has little to no shimmer in it. It's lovely with some pink blush and liquid eyeliner for a natural look!

Stila Say: 'New and beautiful shades of Stila's ever-popular Lip Glaze in our iconic click pen. With just one click you get a glossy pout with a hint of refreshing and delectable color.
  • Easy-to-use clickable Lip Glaze pen
  • Infused with Vitamins A, C and E to keep lips hydrated and protected'
I Say:
  • Scent: They all have a really nice sweet scent which is quite strong when you apply it but wears off quite quickly. I was trying to think what it reminded me of for ages and I've finally realised! Did anyone have one of those little dolls that you feed cherries on a spoon? It smells a bit like the cherries!

  •  Lasting power: For lipglosses the lasting power is quite good. They last a good few hours before they fade.

  • Shades: I think the shades all compliment each other really well and I haven't yet tried but I'm sure that you could layer the gold one on top of both of the other shades for a bolder look!

  • Good: They smell great, they look great, they are good value for a high end product and they do keep my lips soft, like Stila say.

  • Bad: On application they are a nice consistency but when they begin to fade after a few hours they start to get more sticky, especially the two that are shimmery.

Have you tried any Stila lip glazes?

Sprinkle of Glitter's 7 things...

Louise's Post
In August I will....

Work I have been on holiday from uni now for what seems like years and seem to have completely forgotten I actually have work to do over summer! I have to do some reading and re do my lit review in preparation for my dissertation so I am to at least start this over August!

See the sun! I realise this sounds weird, I work in a cinema so I'm indoors with no natural light on my skin for hours on end and it's finally hot in England like it is now I'd like to be able to get some vitamin D!

Do something Olympic-y! I'm currently catching up on what I missed from the Olympic ceremony last night as I was at work and it's amazing! It's such an exciting thing for London and I want to be able to tell my children and grandchildren about it! I'm off to one of the free music events in Hyde park next week and I definitely want to watch and get involved in some of the other things going on!

Save I've been spending rather a lot recently and need to really start saving money for when I move back to uni in September!

Blog I have a long list of different posts I want to do but haven't had much free time over July so I shall get going on this during August.

Decorate I have been itching to redecorate my bedroom at home and now it's summer I may try and rope my boyfriend in to helping me!

Try I have recently bought a few new makeup bits and bobs to try but I always seem to be in a rush when doing my makeup (maybe I should get up earlier!)so usually just reach for the same things! Then I can do a few more reviews too :)

So that's my seven things for August! I was so excited to see that Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter linked my blog in her list from last month! All those links must have taken her ages to do so it's very nice of her to make the effort to include everyone :)
