Review | Wella Luxe Oil

Hey! How are you all?
I haven't done any reviews in aaaages so I've got one for you today! This was given to me whilst I was on my internship when they were having a clear out, I've always used hair masks and intensive conditioner as my hair can get quite dry so I was really excited to give this a go.

Wella say

'It uses a reconstructive Transform Technology that benefits hair inside and out, while protecting it from damage:
  • • Hair texture feels up to 10 times smoother after just one application.
  • • 3 times more Keratin Protection, providing instant and long-lasting, smoothness.
  • • Leaves hair looking healthy and naturally beautiful.
  • • Hair is easy to style every day, thanks to a special, lightweight oil formula.'
  • I Say
  • The first thing I noticed about this is the scent, it's actually really strong for a hair product and if you prefer unscented oils then you definitely wont like this. It took me a while to work it out but I knew it was a familiar smell, it took me back to my early teens, when I spritzed on my Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy before pulling my hair back into a pony tail and pulling two fringey bits down, and pulling on my denim skirt and trainers....hmm. I have no desire to look like that again but the smell of Britney Spears isn't too bad, it's strong but doesn't last too long on the hair... thankfully.

It is a really lovely consistency and makes my hair really soft, I can definitely tell the difference on days I've forgotten to use it! And like it says in the description, it is very long lasting as well, I apply some when I wash my hair and can still feel how soft it's made it on the second day!

As I said, I was given this for free but I've just learned that it's £19.95 for 100ml which is rather pricey! I'm not sure if I'd have bought this for that price beforehand, but it is a lovely product, has great effects and you only need the tiniest bit so even 100ml will last a long time, so it is worth the money. More of a luxury product than a necessity though. (buy here)

That's all!
Have you tried this or any other hair oils?

What did you think? Are there any that are similar but not as pricey?

Thanks for reading!

  1. Great review, this product seems awesome, just wondering though, how fast do you get through the hole bottle, cause yeah it's rather pricy not sure if I want to buy it, but my hair is definitely on the dry side so it seems intereting haha !
Anyway, have a great day !

    2. Thank you :) Well I've had it for about a month now, using it every two or three days and as you can sort of see from the picture, it's just above the label! I only use one pump for all my hair each time as well. Hope that helps :) xx
