October Faves

I should be using this time to write my essay on the representation of homosexuality in British TV drama but instead I'm going to postpone that to give you all my October favourites! Oops naughty...
I LOVE autumn and everything that comes with it, although I feel I am getting excited for Christmas way too early this year :/ Me and my friends (including Sophie!) snuck upstairs at a Halloween party last week to listen (and drunkenly sing along) to Christmas songs!
I actually can't wait!
Anyway back to October, here are a few things I was loving over the month...

I bought this a while back and you can see here, and I have been wearing this so much this month, it goes with everything, it's so soft, and I love the colour and the marled look.

 Liz Earle bronzer

I got this as a freebie when I subscribed to Look magazine along with a lip gloss and the cleanse and polish, which was amazing! It's such a nice colour and it's such a good quality product. I've been wearing it every single day and I love it!

 Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch

My boyfriend bought this for me in September when he came into a bit of money because he knew that I wanted it for ages and ages and he's lovely! I cannot even explain how much I love it, I wear it every day even if I'm not doing anything. It goes so well with my pyjamas!

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel

As you all know this is a limited edition so as soon as it was released again I snapped it up! It's such a lovely smell, if you haven't already go and sniff it, I've already used this whole bottle :( so I'll have to pick up another one asap!

 Burts Bees Miracle salve

It's getting so cold now and I always have the same old problem every year, cold chapped sore old lady hands. So I've been keeping this in my bag to put on whenever they start to get dry and it really works to keep them soft.

Bit of a different one to finish off! I recently started using my ipod again and I've rediscovered my love for it! I used to listen to music on my iphone but it drains the battery, and to have my whole music libary on there really takes up space. So I whipped this out, charged it up, updated the songs and I love it.

Fave blogger: Spider leg lashes

I've recently discovered her blog and love it, she does such good beauty reviews and also has really nice taste in fashion! Her blog is great so go take a look :)

Other faves:
series 1 of Revenge!

Thanks for reading!

What have you been loving this month?

P.S. Check out the new Wishlist feature I have added to my blog, it shows a list of things I have been lusting after and links to where you can get them, I also update it pretty much everyday when I'm browsing and see something I like!

P.P.S. My boyfriend is doing Movember this year! I did a post about it which you can see here, and this is his fundraising page!

Guest-ober 5 | Clare from A bit of this and that

Hello Lovely People,

My name is Clare and I write at ‘A Bit of This and That’. My blog does what it says on the tin. I blog about beauty, fashion and lifestyle and anything else in between.

When Georgia asked me to write for her blog, I got excited. Then it came to the many (many) hours of thinking about what to write to you all about. As Georgia is a very fashionable lady I thought I’d give you two current styles or items that I am loving but also one thing that I’m not liking or just not getting.

My two favourites:

  • Studs: One of my current favourite trends of the moment. They can be subtle like on the collars of shirts but can also be in your face like a good pair of heels. The great thing about this trend is that it is really easy to DIY something with studs, so you can be totally individual. My favourite example of studding that I own is my studded heels and bag that I bought from Ebay and Primark respectively.

  • Galaxy Print: Now this one surprised me. When this trend came out, it was everywhere and I wasn’t sure of it, however recently have been trying to get out of my comfort zone and how did I do this? I bought a pair of galaxy print leggings. I got a few really nice comments from people, which made me happy. I showed off these leggings on my blog because I wanted to show you don’t have to be a skinny lady to wear the trends… us curvy ladies can too ( what do you think?

The Thing I don’t like:

  • Creepers: I’m 22, but I feel like an old lady with these shoes. I don’t get them. I hope people don’t hate me for saying this but I think they are ugly and when you type in creepers into google you get many pictures of people with really nice outfits, which are ruined by these shoes. I wish someone would explain to me what is good about these shoes. Casing point is this picture. Maybe I’m just getting old.

I would like to know what your favourite trends or fashion items, either leave me a comment below or come and chat with me on twitter or on my blog.

Till Next Time,
C

Wishlist

I've been doing a lot of online window shopping lately, mostly because I had 1000 words of my dissertation to write and couldn't face it! But I have found a few things that I have fallen in love with, hope you enjoy dribbling over them as much as I do! Georgia x

Autumn collective Haul...

So.... I've spent all my money!
I really should not be trusted with a student loan, or any type of loan or credit card because I have no self control whatsoever. It actually makes me feel quite ill to think of how much money I have spent on Autumn/Winter wear this year (yet no coat... what am I doing?) but hey ho can't take it back now! (I probs could but I'm not going to.)

So I thought I'd do a little post on all the things I have bought recently because I love reading these sorts of blog posts and having a nose at what people buy! By the way..these things have been bought over a few months, I haven't just gone crazy all in one day, thought I wouldn't put it past myself...)

Superdry Tshirt | Primark Peplum top | Lacy Peplum top

H&M Rose print skirt | Topshop Bralet | Boots

*This was actually a present from my boyfriend Craig, he has such good taste!

Hope you enjoyed having a nose through my purchases, I linked everything I could find in case you have been enticed by anything! I'll be doing reviews of the beauty bits and bobs once I've had a chance to play with them :)

Thanks for reading!
