Midi Skirt trend | Under £20

Midi skirts are ideal for this time of year because you can show a bit of skin without looking like that person who strips off as soon as there's a hint of sun! These are my favourites from the high street, and they are all £20 and under. You're welcome savy shoppers, I do the hard work so you can reap the bargs... I don't mind ;)
I'd wear the pleated lace midi with a shirt tucked in for the office, and the Lilac scuba midi with a breton crop top for weekends. I also love the Christopher Kane inspired look of slogan jumpers tucked in to midi skirts which you could style with any of these!
What would you wear your midi with?

Review | Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

There are a lot of different versions of this type of cleanser emerging now, and I plan to try a few different ones to determine which is best for my skin. However I thought I'd lose my Micellar virginity to this Garnier one, as it's good value for money and I didn't want to spend loads to find out that I didn't even like using this type of cleanser (See I can be savvy sometimes!)
I bought this from boots for £4.99 a while back but it's now on offer for £3.99! (snap up that barg here!) I love the packaging, it's such a huge bottle! It claims the 400ml will last 200 uses which is amazing value, I've used it morning and night for the past couple of months and I'm just over half way through so I'l probably get over 200 uses out of it!
To use, you just apply a small amount to a cotton pad and wipe over your face, it's not scented but it does have a sort of clean smell and it feels really nice and fresh. The consistency is very similar to water but with a hint of bubbly-ness. (Who knows what I mean?) It removes stubborn eye make up without drying out the skin and is really gentle on sensitive skin.
I really like this so far but I may have a little look at what other brands have to offer too! Any recommendations are welcome! Here's a handy little article from Red if you're thinking of trying out Micellar Water too! Read Here :)

Which is you're favourite brand for Micellar Water?

Review | Benefit Fake Up

Ohh I love pictures of products when they're new. I assure you this is not what this Benefit Fake Up looks like now after months of love! I bought this in with all the boots points I'd built up over Christmas (so it doesn't really feel like money!) It's a bit on the pricey side at £18.50 and I'm in two minds whether I'd repurchase it. On one hand it is a really nice concealer, and it's going to last ages because it's in a twist up tube. And on the other hand £18.50 is pretty expensive when you can also get equally good concealers like my forever favourite Collection Lasting Perfection for like £4.
It's a bit of a different concept; concealer with a moisturising ring designed to moisturise your eyes as well as providing coverage. It's so creamy and lovely and glides on really smoothly, I usually draw a V under each eye and then pat it in with my ring finger. It doesn't provide a great deal of coverage but the moisturiser also really helps to boost the appearance of tired eyes. It's not cakey or drying and it doesn't crease, it just brightens and refreshes eyes giving a glowy natural look.
I also really love the packaging, as with all Benefit products it's pretty and elegant and feels expensive!
I only really use this on my under eyes with a light dusting of powder to make it last, however when I've tried to use it on blemishes I have found that quite an extreme amount of powder is required to make it stay put! So overall; lovely on eyes for a natural look, quite expensive but lasts a long time, and only really for use under the eyes.
Have used this or are you thinking of giving it a try?
How much would you normally spend on concealer?
I got the shade Light 01. Buy here.

April Favourites

HOW on earth is it May already! It'll soon be Christmas...
I've been trying a lot of new things over April but one old favourite I had to include is my Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser. I've been using this every morning and night and it's really improved my skin. It stays hydrated all day which in turn improves the look of my make up! It is on the expensive side but I find that I only use a tiny bit each time so it's lasting me ages.
I read lots of good things about this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and thought I'd give it a try. I have been really loving it, it's very gentle on sensitive skin and really effectively removes stubborn make up! Full review coming soon :)
I've always been interested in using Bare Minerals Foundation but never thought it would be enough coverage for me. But as my skin was getting worse last month, I was wearing more liquid foundation, which in turn was clogging it up and  making it even worse! So I went for it and bought this mineral foundation and I was really surprised by how much coverage it actually offers! It feels like I'm not wearing any make up on my skin at all and the best bit is that my skin has improved a lot since I started wearing it. I feel like this might be my new obsession... full review to come soon :)
Who doesn't love this concealer? I recently repurchased a new Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer so here's a picture from before the packaging turned into a blurred mess! Packaging aside, I love using it under my eyes as it's creamy and not drying. And it works just as well covering redness, all round GREAT as you all know I'm sure.
You may have seen my recent post about this little treat! If not click here :) Soap and Glory Orangeasm shower gel is one of the best things I've ever smelt... If you like citrus-y fresh smells then you'll love this.

A Few Non-Beauty Faves...
I got this White Tea and Wysteria Candle as a gift for Christmas and saved it because I felt like it was a spring-time smell! (I'm cool right...) I have been burning this all month :)
I did an outfit of the day in this pretty little dress from Warehouse earlier this week, and I absolutely love it. I also got lots of compliments wearing it to work recently! See my OOTD here :)
I bought a juicer at the beginning of the month, and I've been very much enjoying experimenting with different recipes, some good... some not so good! If you'd be interested I'll definitely write about some recipes on here for you (only the nice ones I promise!)

That's all my favourites this month!
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
What have you been loving in April?
