July Favourites

This month I have been really trying to slim down my makeup bag because it's not good for my back to keep carting it around... only joking its not that big. I have been loving my Bareminerals foundation since my April favourites and the way it's improved the look of my skin has inspired my to use much lighter products with more natural ingredients.
This concealer is specifically for under eyes, it's like a lovely creamer moisturiser with a hint of colour to cover any darkness. Two in one eye cream and concealer significantly speeds up my getting ready time. What's not to love! See my review for more deets.
This became one of my favourite favourites very quickly! It's longlasting, its really moisturising without being sticky and its a lovely colour. See my review here :)
I got this bronzer free with my subscription to look magazine a while back, and its perfect. Its matte, it's not too dark so really nice for fair skin, and it blends really well. I've been wearing this every day this month with a little bit of peachy blush :)
This Bare Minerals Foundation has changed my life.. no exaggeration. When I first tested it, I wasn't sure how such a light powder would ever be able to give me enough coverage. It is light coverage but because it's so light an lets your skin breath unlike liquid foundations, my skin has drastically improved! It's clearer and more even toned so I sometimes even dare to go bare faced... Can't rave about this enough.

That's all folks!
What have you been loving through July?

April Favourites

HOW on earth is it May already! It'll soon be Christmas...
I've been trying a lot of new things over April but one old favourite I had to include is my Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser. I've been using this every morning and night and it's really improved my skin. It stays hydrated all day which in turn improves the look of my make up! It is on the expensive side but I find that I only use a tiny bit each time so it's lasting me ages.
I read lots of good things about this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and thought I'd give it a try. I have been really loving it, it's very gentle on sensitive skin and really effectively removes stubborn make up! Full review coming soon :)
I've always been interested in using Bare Minerals Foundation but never thought it would be enough coverage for me. But as my skin was getting worse last month, I was wearing more liquid foundation, which in turn was clogging it up and  making it even worse! So I went for it and bought this mineral foundation and I was really surprised by how much coverage it actually offers! It feels like I'm not wearing any make up on my skin at all and the best bit is that my skin has improved a lot since I started wearing it. I feel like this might be my new obsession... full review to come soon :)
Who doesn't love this concealer? I recently repurchased a new Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer so here's a picture from before the packaging turned into a blurred mess! Packaging aside, I love using it under my eyes as it's creamy and not drying. And it works just as well covering redness, all round GREAT as you all know I'm sure.
You may have seen my recent post about this little treat! If not click here :) Soap and Glory Orangeasm shower gel is one of the best things I've ever smelt... If you like citrus-y fresh smells then you'll love this.

A Few Non-Beauty Faves...
I got this White Tea and Wysteria Candle as a gift for Christmas and saved it because I felt like it was a spring-time smell! (I'm cool right...) I have been burning this all month :)
I did an outfit of the day in this pretty little dress from Warehouse earlier this week, and I absolutely love it. I also got lots of compliments wearing it to work recently! See my OOTD here :)
I bought a juicer at the beginning of the month, and I've been very much enjoying experimenting with different recipes, some good... some not so good! If you'd be interested I'll definitely write about some recipes on here for you (only the nice ones I promise!)

That's all my favourites this month!
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
What have you been loving in April?

February Favourites

Hello! How are you? Hope you're all having a nice March and enjoying the sunshine! It's so nice to have not had any snow in England this year. Although I could have just jinxed it.. oops. I've turned into one of those grumpy people who hates snow apparently. I remember in my first year of uni it snowed loads at about 3 O'Clock in the morning and me and my flatmates ran down to play in it before it was ruined by cars and children! But now all I think about is how hard it is to drive in and train cancellations...
Anyway, let's crack on with my faves!
First up it's Soap and Glory Bath Float.

Review | Lush 9 to 5 cleansing lotion

Hello! How are you?
I have a review for you today! I bought this a few weeks ago and showed you in my haul, and a few of you wanted to see a review so here you are :) I bought the 95g bottle for £4.75 as I wanted to try it before committing to the big £9.25 bottle! I've been using Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish for a while now and really like it but I've found that it really wasn't doing much for my skin. If I forgot to use it for even one day my skin would get really bad and take about a week to clear up again! I just wanted something that would calm my skin down and keep it that way.

Lush say
A simple yet beautiful liquid facial cleanser for those times when you’re in a hurry and need to just cleanse and go.
We make this by steeping fresh dove orchids in almond oil overnight – then strain the petals out and use the infused oil as the base for this cleanser. Contains a lovely light fragrance of honeysuckle and ylang ylang.
9 to 5 will gently remove all traces of dirt, grease and make up without dragging the skin. You will be left feeling fresh, clean and ready to start the day. Although you might also want to pour yourself a cup of ambition.
This is a really old formula of Mark’s, from back in the early days of his career, when he first started out making beautiful traditional herbal inspired products. It wouldn’t go away and leave him, because so many people have asked for its return. We have brought it back in its original glory and renamed it 9 to 5 after the Dolly Parton song and in recognition that today’s woman often has very little time in a busy schedule.

I say
It's everything it says and more, it's so gentle on the skin but still manages to remove all my makeup. And it's really light and fresh but still manages to leave my skin feeling moisturised. It smells lovely and it feels lovely and in the few weeks I've been using it, it's really improved my skin.

The only thing I would say is I use quite a lot of it each time so I don't imagine it will last very long, I'll definitely get the big bottle next time though and maybe it won't seem to go down as quickly!

Overall I think this is a really lovely cleanser, and an alternative to Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish if you had the same problem with it as me! AND I love that it's named after a Dolly Parton song too! Cute!

Have you tried this?

How do you find Liz Earle Cleanser?

Thanks for reading!

Top 5 Autumn/Winter Lip colours

So today's post is going to be my Top five Autumn Winter lip colours! I love wearing black flicked eyeliner everyday and rarely change my day time makeup from this so I do like to experiment with lip colours ever now and again! These are five of my most worn over Autumn and Winter this year :) hope you enjoy!

I used to wear this a lot in summer but I feel like its transferred really well to Autumn/ Winter too! It's such a lovely orangey pink and its very pigmented, the formula is great and it lasts really well!

2. Kate Moss for Rimmel Matte lipstick in shade 111I've done a full review on this lipstick which you can see here, I don't wear this too often because it is quite bold, but I've been wearing it on nights out recently and I really love it!

I featured this in my November Favourites because I wear it most days, it's such a nice formula and lasts ages! It's really good for day time makeup.

I'm not really a lip gloss wearer, it has to be really special for me to wear it over and over, but I do love this one from Stila! It's a lovely colour and a really nice way to wear a darker colour on the lips more subtly. You can see a full review of the set I bought this in here.

5. Liz Earle Sheer lip gloss
I've never really looked at much Liz Earle makeup but I got this free with my Look magazine subscription and really love it! It's a really high quality lip gloss and lasts for ages! It's a really nice nude colour and looks great on its own and also to add gloss to a lipstick.
So that's all for now!I hope you enjoyed this post :)What are your fave lip colours at the moment? Thanks for reading!Georgia x
