Tea Tree Must Haves!

Helloooo!

I thought I'd do a skincare post today!
I have been using this Body Shop set for a while now and I realllly like it, so I thought I'd review this as well as adding in the other bits and bobs I currently use for skincare.
Nothing spesh, I look for student friendly prices! But the combination works well for my combination skin... see what I did ;)

My favourite type of product is one that gives you that fresh, cold, tingly skin feeling whenever you use it! I loveee Mint and Tea Tree Original Source shower gel for this exact reason, and this is another product that does just that. It's a nice consistency, not too thick and it lathers up nicely leaving my face feeling really clean and refreshed.

I use it with this little face scrubby thingy which lathers it up nicely and gets to all bits of my face. I always use this in the morning to wake myself up!

And then some days, not everyday, I use No7 Radiance Boosting Hot Cloth Cleanser which is a much cheaper version of Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I used my No7 £5 off voucher from Boots and got it down from £10 to just £5. I realise a lot of bloggers say it isn't as good as the Liz Earle (I wouldn't know I haven't tried it! Shock Horror!) but it works really well for me, it makes my skin really soft for £5 you can't go wrong really!

                                                             Tea Tree Toner: £4.50
The next step in my morning ritual is to use the Tea Tree Toner. This also has that lovely cold fresh feeling and helps to remove all traces of dirt and cleanser before applying moisturiser and then makeup.

This is the second one of these I have bought, and I will continue to repurchase! At first I wasn't too fond because although the effects of it are amazing it is quite drying, perhaps aimed at more oily skin than I have. But I have found a solution to this! I mix this half and half with my moisturiser so that it still works to remove blemishes but it doesn't dry my skin out.

The set as a whole works together to provide 'lightweight hydration', 'shine control', 'antibacterial action' and 'clearer skin.' (Body Shop Website) And this is exactly what it has done for me! I haven't used yet used each item separately so I couldn't say if one thing works better than another at giving me clearer skin. But after two days of using this set, my skin looked noticeably clearer and less blemish-y! I would definitely recommend for anyone with oily to combination skin.

No 7 Day Fluid: £10 (£5 with boots voucher!)
It's pink, enough said...

So that is my pre-makeup skincare, simple but effective! I am always open to trying new things though so if anyone has any other recommendations of something that works for combination skin then please let me know! :)

Thanks for reading!

Georgia

    1. I really like them, if you have combination or oily skin they work really well but I don't think that they would do any favours for dry skin.
      Hope this helps!
