Tips for struggling students!

Helloooo!

So as I mention in most of my posts, I live on a student budget and I also find it very difficult to prioritize... for example, I'd really rather buy a new toppers dress than food for the week! ('Help me I'm poor!' name that film!)

I don't know if it's because I'm growing up and getting more sensible (hmm) or that I have less money now than ever before... but I have been researching money making and money saving strategies. And as a few of you that comment are students too, I thought I'd share them with you!

Money Saving:

Before you make any plans to go for a meal, go food shopping, go clothes shopping, stay in a hotel, order a take-away or even buy insurance.. sign up to voucher cloud and they send you discounts for all these things and loads more. They also have a handy app so you can keep all your discount codes on your phone!

Everyone knows that you can find great bargs on Ebay! I love Vipxo's posts on designer style on Ebay, take a look and you'll be as inspired as I was!

3. Unidays
Sometimes claiming your student discount whilst online shopping can be difficult, putting in codes that don't always work and not to mention you have to buy the nus card for a tenner in the first place! Unidays is a solution to this, they provide student discounts and also alert you to online offers! Like them on facebook to get in on the action.

I've grouped these together because they are the same concept, like these facebook pages and get news of offers, discounts and competitions straight to your news feed.

Money Making:

This is a nifty little website that could earn you a few pennies! It works by sending you surveys from different companies to take, then rewarding you with points for each one you complete. When you collect enough points you can choose between vouchers or transferring it into your PayPal account as cash!

The title speaks for itself really! Sign up and they email you links to freebies such as samples of makeup and perfume, or sometimes its chocolate or discounts or books, the list goes on really! And they also send lots of competitions to win holidays and clothes and loadddsss of other stuff.

As well as a fab way of saving money, it can help you get a good price for your unwanted things,
as I have discussed here

So this one is only really for bloggers, you can make a few extra pennies by advertising on your blog. Google adsense is one of the ways but there are also a lot more on offer!

Has anyone got any more tips I can add to my list?

Hope this was helpful!

Thanks for reading!
